Homelessness vs. Bank’s Foreclosed Homes

Image

At birth we’re invited to travel on Space Ship Earth with a life-time ticket. It’s true for each of us. How is it that some people have hoarded all the seats and then artificially force most of us to pay them for what is rightly ours – a seat for our life time journey? How’s it possible that most of us must fight each other for the means to pay the few for use of a seat?

The hoarders call this “mortgages” and pretend it cost THEM something to get those extra seats, charging us interest to extort more so we spend our whole journey on Earth stressfully working to pay them for what is OUR seat from the beginning! A few mimic the big hoarders, buy a few seats, and charge “rent” while acting superior to those who have no seats. Some don’t make it in that game and are forced to spend their whole lives walking the aisles and unpleasantly sleeping in the bathrooms. Some take drugs to ease the terrible stress of the environment, others resort to crime so they can bear the journey.

Shouldn’t we all just claim our seats and tell the bullies that their game is over? Shouldn’t we all have the proud right to claim our place on Space Ship Earth and to be welcomed here freely, and even joyfully, by the other passengers on our journey?

Here’s YOUR ticket, YOUR seat – I give them to you freely, and I gladly welcome you aboard as a fully empowered and honored fellow on this journey of life. Viva la Space Ship! Viva YOU. ❤

The Legend of the White Buffalo

White Buffalo

The Legend & Importance of the White Buffalo

“To Native Americans, the Bison or American Buffalo was a symbol of sacred life and abundance. This importance and symbolism was created from legend:

One summer a long time ago, the seven sacred council fires of the Lakota Sioux came together and camped. The sun was strong and the people were starving for there was no game. Two young men went out to hunt in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Along the way, a beautiful young woman dressed in white appeared to the warriors and said, “Return to your people and tell them I am coming.” This holy woman presented the Lakota people with the sacred pipe which showed how all things were connected. She taught the Lakota people the mysteries of the earth. She taught them to pray and follow the proper path while on earth. As the woman left the tribe, she rolled upon the earth four times, changing color each time, and finally turning into a white buffalo calf. Then she disappeared. Almost at the same time as her leaving, great herds of buffalo could be seen surrounding the camps. It is said that after that day, the Lakota honored their pipe, and buffalo were plentiful.

This story of the White Buffalo Calf Woman has immense importance to the Lakota and many other tribes. As John Lame Deer, a spiritual leader says, “A white buffalo is the most sacred living thing you could ever encounter.” The changing colors—like some white buffalo do as they age—have significance, too, which must be interpreted by a holy man.

The American Buffalo or Bison is a symbol of abundance and manifestation. The lesson learned by the Lakota is that one does not have to struggle to survive. This is especially true if the right action is joined by the right prayer. By learning to appropriately unite the mundane with the divine, all that will be needed will be provided.

Lightning Medicine CloudThe Native Americans see the birth of a white buffalo calf as the most significant of prophetic signs, equivalent to the weeping statues, bleeding icons, and crosses of light that are becoming prevalent within the Christian churches today. Where the Christian faithful who visit these signs see them as a renewal of God’s ongoing relationship with humanity, so do the Native Americans see the white buffalo calf as the sign to begin life’s sacred hoop.

“The arrival of the white buffalo is like the second coming of Christ,” says Floyd Hand Looks For Buffalo, an Oglala Medicine Man from Pine Ridge, South Dakota. “It will bring about purity of mind, body, and spirit and ;unify all nations—black, red, yellow, and white.” He sees the birth of a white calf as an omen because they happen in the most unexpected places and often among the poorest people in the nation. The birth of the sacred white buffalo provides those within the Native American community with a sense of hope and an indication that good times are to come.

The telling of a story from one culture to another is complex; without living in the culture, we miss much of the story’s significance. However, it can still have meaning for us if we take the time to learn about the philosophy of the culture from which it came, perhaps meditating or reflecting on its place in our own lives.”  http://www.lightningmedicinecloud.com/legend.html

TalkingStickTV – John Nichols – 28th Amendment National Roadshow

Talk by John Nichols co-author of Dollarocracy given May 3, 2014 as part of the 28th Amendment National Roadshow at the Common Good Cafe at University Temple United Methodist Church in Seattle.

My thoughts; Great speaker. Great points. Great passion. There is a wonderful book by Prof. Michael Perelman entitled The Invention of Capitalism that maps out the strategy of those rich white men to consolidate wealth and power and to enslave the men and women who were living freely on the land in a self sustaining manner. The cunning, the violence, the trickery that was used to take away our rights to live free and happy lives on our own determinism is breathtaking. Since the beginning of this strategy the wealthy have used their wealth and power to twist the laws, the governments, the financial system to favor them and to exploit us. http://libcom.org/files/The%20Invention%20of%20Capitalism.pdfIf we stop at an amendment that keeps the wealthy folks’ money out of politics we will be attacked on other fronts where we are vulnerable, the rich will take our jobs and make us homeless, they will manipulate the banking system to keep us out of homes and force us into their rental properties while driving up the cost so we all have to work longer at the few, lesser paid jobs that the wealthy dole out to us and the rest of us are too desperate to fight. They will manipulate the laws so that only they may own the water rights, the land, the resources that we all need to live. What we need is an amendment that makes it the human right, and the birthright of each of us to a free and a fair share of the land and its resources so we can live freely without coercion or threat from anyone. Our government holds in trust for us nearly 30% of our land which is equivalent to 1,115,344 square miles and is equal to the combined land masses of Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Greece, New Zealand, Ireland, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Liechtenstein, the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, and Bermuda. This amount of land holds 60 million more people than the ENTIRE population of America yet we can find no land, no safe bases in which our 50 million desperately poor can stably rest, and shelter, and grow their own food supply. Getting money out of politics will not help these Americans; insisting on land reform will. And it will strengthen the rest of us so that the rich cannot manipulate us on other fronts of their invention. http://flowingdata.com/2009/11/13/land-mass-and-population-by-country/

Only when each man and woman has a RIGHT to live freely on our own homeland will we have created a truly free people in America. When we can live for the first time without the invented threat of landlessness, of homelessness, of joblessness that puts us always in thrall to the corp/gov machinery of the rich we will have the time and space to create a new social design that is by and for the people.

Let’s not waste this passion, this movement on a half measure, let’s be wise enough, this once, to insist on real personal freedom for every American through an amendment that protects us at the most basic level of our lives – our need for a steady land base, a secure shelter, and the means to create our own, self sustaining food supply. Free land = free people; Free people = power.
